Maggie Necklace
Mother of Pearl is the star of the Maggie Necklace. The 1-inch round Mother of Pearl shell takes center stage on a handmade circle link copper chain with a hand hammered clasp to hold it all together. Large irregularly shaped flat diamond and strawberry tinted Mother of Pearl beads are strong supporters. In between those Mother of Pearl stars are garnet stone nuggets, and for good measure, a few more garnet beads on one side of the chain to lend interesting asymmetrical detail. The Maggie necklace invites you to bring on the drama, but in a good way.

Mother of Pearl: MOP is carved from the lining of the mollusk shell, which is where pearls are also created. Thus, it is called Mother of Pearl. MOP is said to promote prosperity and increase intuition. To clean when needed, wash with water and a gentle soap; no scrubbing needed.
Strawberry Mother of Pearl: A large 21x20mm irregularly flat diamond shaped MOP bead is dyed a delightful strawberry color.
